Aquaphor Crystal HA is a carbon softening filter designed for municipally treated water containing particles like sand, rust, and high turbidity.
It includes a K5 pre-filter (5 microns) to trap large particles and extend the life of the K7 cartridge, which removes particles down to 0.8 microns. The K7 uses CarbFiber Block technology, combining activated coconut carbon and patented Aquaphor ion-exchange microfibers to remove chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and microplastics.
The KH cartridge softens moderately hard water (limescale appears in 10–14 days). For high mineralization, use a reverse osmosis system.
Replacement schedule: K5 every 3–6 months, other cartridges annually or sooner if water quality deteriorates.
